Erinvale Golf Course, renowned throughout the golfing fraternity, is set in the heart of one of the world’s most famous wine regions. Designed by Gary Player, this 18 hole championship layout is the perfect way to spend a morning before sampling some incredible wines.
The undulating terrain provides stunning views of the Cape Fold Mountain range, and the impressive club house provides all the appropriate amenities for golfers, including an outstanding Pro Shop.
Tennis
We have 2 outdoor hard courts with magnificent views of the golf course and mountains. Nets will be up all year for guests to enjoy a lovely game of tennis!
Mountain Biking

Less than 5 minutes from us, you can experience over 100 mountain biking/cycling trails on the magnificent 4,000 hectare Lourensford Estate. Meandering gravel paths provide a variety of secure cycling options for the beginner to the expert rider.
Hiking
Erinvale Estate offers plush and well maintained walking/hiking trails just moments from the Baldwin Manor. Hike to the top of the estate to see the panoramic and picturesque Helderberg and Hottentot mountain valley and Atlantic seaboard. Alternatively, you can even venture further up with exclusive access into the Helderberg Nature Reserve, where you can continue hiking to the top of the mountain peaks.

An Environmental Tour that takes you through the private nature reserve of Vergelegen, a 3,200 hectare estate, with possible sightings of Bontebok, Rau Quagga, Red Hartebeest, Nguni Cattle, Black Wildebeest & Eiland.
Birdlife & Wildlife
The Helderberg Nature Reserve is a 398-hectare protected conservation area, neighboring Erinvale, on the southern slopes of the Helderberg mountain. Its 398 ha consist mostly of “Kogelberg Sandstone Fynbos” with smaller patches of “Boland Granite Fynbos” and “Southern Afrotemperate Forest”. It is a home to a wide variety of plant and bird life - 110 bird species, including several raptors. And boasts a rich variety of indigenous animals, such as the Cape Grey Mongoose, Spotted Genet, Baboons, various smaller buck and antelope such as the grey rhebok, klipspringer, duiker and grysbok. Lastly, there is also some wild mountain cats, such as the Caracal and Cape Leopard, although they are rarely seen due to their nocturnal lifestyle.
